The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Lytvyn expressed his condolences in connection with death of Oleksandr Savchuk, the people’s deputy of Ukraine.
“It is with deep sorrow that I have learned of the premature death of Oleksandr Volodymyrovych Savchuk.
We have lost an outstanding technical officer and President of PJSC “Azovmash”, talented entrepreneur, researcher, and people’s deputy of Ukraine of the V and VI convocations. The heart of the person who saw the sense of his life in self-giving service to the favourite cause – creative development of the unique scientific and production complex PJSC “Azovmash” - stopped. Using up-to-date technologies, not only did the enterprise headed by him preserve its intellectual and production capacity, but also became one of the most successful companies of the kind on the territory of the former USSR. Oleksandr Volodymyrovych impersonated the best qualities of business elite of Ukraine – honesty, selflessness, fidelity to his principles, wisdom, kindness, and dignity.
Our loss is irrevocable, and our grief is immeasurable. The bright image of Oleksandr Volodymyrovych will remain in our hearts.
Please, accept my sincere condolences in your grief,” reads the telegram to O. Savchuk’s close ones.
